Are you passionate about great coffee and friendly service? Join our team at the Buckland Hospital in Dover as a Catering Assistant and play a vital role in keeping staff, patients, and visitors fuelled and cared for every day.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Coffee Pod team on a 12-month secondment, helping deliver an exceptional café experience for staff, patients and visitors.

What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Maintain an attractive and welcoming Coffee Pod
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team
- Handling cash and card payments confidently and accurately
What we’re looking for:
- A positive attitude and a commitment to great customer service
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service is helpful, but not essential – full training will be provided
- A team player who takes pride in their work and enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication is key – you’ll be confident engaging with customers, colleagues, and hospital staff
- A proficient level of reading, verbal, and written English is required for this role to ensure effective communication and job performance.
