Job Introduction
2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.
We are seeking a Catering Assistant based at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital on a permanent full time basis working an 8 hour shift between 5:30am - 17:30pm 5 days out of 7 including every other weekend.
Catering Assistants provide an exceptional service to staff, patients and visitors within the hospital. Working in the hospital canteen, and kitchen, they deliver great customer service and ensure hygiene and health and safety levels are up to standard within the kitchen.
Previous customer service or food preparation experience is an advantage, however previous experience is not essential. We will provide any relevant training for the role that is needed.
Main duties of the job
- Tidy upkeep of the food preparation and serving areas, as well as any equipment used
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards and apply food safety procedures
- Taking payment/using cash registers whilst delivering exceptional customer service within our onsite hospital restaurant
