Job Introduction

2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator within our Facilities team based at Kent and Canterbury Hospital. You will provide administrative, clerical and typing support to the team as well as acting as a point of contact for internal and external communications. The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, to be worked 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday on a permanent basis.

The role

  • Acting as a point of contact for the management team, dealing with all enquiries from other departments and drafting responses.
  • Transcribing correspondence when required, using the correct layout, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Maintaining the filing and computing systems, including inputting accurate data on the relevant data bases. Analysing data/information where required.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth running of the office by sorting post, photocopying, responding to emails, answering the phone and redirecting or relaying information.
  • Provide support in confidential matters, including HR issues and formal meetings
  • Organise own work schedule and adapt to meet the requirements of the service

The person

  • The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience within a busy environment
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm when working under pressure
  • Excellent organisation skills 
  • Computer skills including use of software packages ie Microsoft outlook
  • Educated to NVQ Level 2, RSA Level 3 (or equivalent) and GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
