We’re excited to announce an internal opportunity for the position of Personal Assistant to the Managing Director & Business Executive.

This role is based at Kent and Canterbury Hospital and offers the chance to work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Office and driving business priorities forward. 

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday. 

About the Role

As the Personal Assistant, you will:

  • Manage the Executive Office, ensuring smooth operations and support for the MD and Business Executive team.
  • Coordinate senior leadership meetings, producing agendas, briefing materials, and ensuring timely follow-ups on actions.
  • Serve as a key representative for the MD, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and influencing decisions on behalf of the business.
  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and project proposals on sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Oversee administrative support functions, including managing the Business Support Officer.
  • Drive governance processes, monitor recommendations, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
  • Outstanding organisational abilities, with a proven track record of managing competing priorities and achieving deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, and a strong understanding of the intranet and social media.
  • Experience in business administration (minimum of three years) and managing a team. 
  • A Diploma in Management or equivalent qualification, along with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
