Job Introduction

2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

Helpdesk and Switchboard Operators are outgoing, customer focussed people that provide a critical service to all callers to 2Gether and the Trust (EKHUFT).  They are part of a central point of contact that provides an efficient, tailored and courteous first line support service to patients, members of the public and staff.  

Previous call handling experience and good IT skills would be an advantage.

This role is full time role, 37.5 hours per week. Due to service requirements operating a 24/7 rota, some degree of flexibility is required as shifts will cover the 24/7 rota.

The role

  • Respond to enquiries through various channels and deliver exceptional support to patients, staff and external callers
  • Strong affinity with IT systems and ability to manage systems to ensure timely delivery of service requirements
  • Able to perform under pressure by responding to Major incidents, Emergency calls, Fire Alarms etc
  • Proactively monitor systems that manage work flow to different teams within 2gether and match with the right team or operative when required.
