Job Introduction

2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

The supply chain team is at the heart of the hospital delivery system. Working within the procurement team, they perform a vital role ensuring that the hospital teams have full stocks of crucial materials and equipment. Assistant and supervising the Supply Chain Team on a daily basis, you will ensure an effective service is provided toe the Trust (customer) and 2gether at all times. 

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.

The role

  • Co-ordinate and prioritise activity within the team, assisting with re-ordering, replenishment and re-stocking of product to multiple locations.
  • Ensuring staff comply with the agreed customer requirements and authorisation levels.
  • Acting as point of contact for Customers and other external stakeholders in dealing with complex queries and issues.
  • Supporting the Procurement Services Team in the delivery of the full range of services to both 2gether and the Trust.

The Person

  • Ability to deal with difficult situations, such as customer relationships or out of stock products.
  • Previous experience Supervising a team 
  • Excellent customer relationship skills, with good verbal and written communication
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Experience using difference IT systems, Administration and Office skills, ideally with experience of electronic ordering systems.
